Common questions about using BareGPT
Yes. BareGPT is designed to help students improve their writing. However, you should always follow your school's academic honesty policies. We provide feedback and coaching, but we never write content for you.
You keep access through the end of your billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier with 3 reviews per day. Your documents remain accessible in your browser or Google Drive.
You own your content and can use our feedback however you like. The feedback is generated specifically for you and becomes part of your document. We retain no rights to your writing or the feedback we provide.
No. Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing login credentials violates these terms and may result in account suspension. Schools should contact us about education accounts for multiple users.
Our feedback is guidance, not gospel. You should always use your own judgment about what to change. If you think our feedback is wrong, trust your instincts. The goal is to make you think about your writing, not to dictate changes.
Email support@baregpt.com with the subject line "Bug Report" and include details about what happened, what you expected, and any relevant screenshots. We read every report and prioritize fixes based on impact.
The free tier includes 3 reviews per day, which is enough for most students. For paid plans, we offer special pricing for students with a valid .edu email address. Contact support to request student pricing.
BareGPT currently supports English prose writing only. We analyze clarity, structure, tone, and voice for English text. Support for additional languages may be added in the future based on user demand.
