Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS and at rest using industry-standard encryption. We use secure authentication through Supabase and follow security best practices to protect your information.
Students under 13 should use BareGPT only under parental or teacher supervision. We comply with COPPA requirements and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
Only if you use BareGPT through your school's Education Portal. In that case, teachers can see your submissions and feedback for assignments you submit through the portal. Personal accounts are completely separate.
Basic account information is retained while your account is active. Usage data for analytics is retained for up to 12 months. You can request deletion at any time, and we will process your request within 30 days.
